Real Screen Ruler does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. This page explains what data exists when you use the tool and where it lives.
No Personal Data Collection
We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, device identifiers, browser fingerprints, usage analytics, or any information that could identify you as an individual.
Local Storage
To remember your settings between sessions, we use your browser's localStorage. This data lives entirely on your device and is never sent to any server:

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
No Cookies
Real Screen Ruler does not set any cookies — tracking, advertising, or otherwise. There are no third-party scripts from advertising networks, analytics providers, or social media platforms.
No Third-Party Services
The only external resource loaded is Google Fonts (Geist typeface). Google Fonts requests are subject to Google's privacy policy. The ruler falls back to system fonts if fonts are blocked.
No Tracking
There is no analytics script on this site — no Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, Mixpanel, pixel tracking, heat mapping, or session recording.
Children's Privacy
Since we collect no personal data whatsoever, this tool poses no privacy risk to any user of any age, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If our privacy practices change, we will update this page. Any significant change will be noted with an updated date.
